About From the Origin

We work directly with artisans, cooperatives, and farmers across Ecuador to bring cacao, coffee, and textiles to the United States. Our focus is rooted in long-term relationships, quality, and respect for origin.

Built through direct relationships

From the Origin was created to connect products to the places and people they come from.

We work closely with producers across Ecuador whose knowledge, materials, and traditions shape every product we offer.

Rather than removing products from their context, we aim to keep origin visible — through transparency, sourcing, and storytelling.

Vision

As you know, we're here to keep the culture alive! In this day and age, these traditions are fading fast.So as long as we can share these goods, these stories, these textiles, and make connections with artisans and farmers, our dream can goes as far and as wide as we make it together.

Fortunate to have grown up both in Iowa & Ecuador - I recognize the importance of keeping culture alive. Through many conversations with Artisans over the years I have learned that their craft is fading generation by generation.
Since I was a little girl, I always knew I should do something to help.
I see wisdom in these art forms, these textures, these colors, and in the soil that the herbs, cacao, and coffee grow from. I hope you feel it too!
