Fortunate to have grown up between The United States and Ecuador, I've come to appreciate the importance of keeping culture and craft alive.

Since I was a little girl, I watched the distance between tradition and the modern world grow a little wider with each generation. Conversations with artisans and farmers over the years only reinforced how important it is to keep these stories, crafts, and ways of life alive.

From The Origin has since evolved into a conscious import company and brand, building thoughtful bridges through meaningful trade, collaborative partnerships, and products that honor the people, traditions, and places they come from.
I believe there is wisdom woven into every craft, every texture, every pattern, and every handful of soil.
